should i buy a sony or samsung home theater?
i just bought a 46 inch samsung 1080p 120hz touch of color lcd hd tv, so i am plannig to buy a home theater system but dont know which one...so should i buy a samsung home theater just so it could match my tv or should i get a sony even though my tv is a samsung....which would be better for my tv??
Home theater in a box are not very flexible when you want to upgrade down the road. They come with a dvd or blu ray disc player already. Go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on home theater in a box. Hers is what they say: entry level Sony DAV-HDX500 $499, Onkyo HT-SR800 $599 and then mid range: Panasonic SC-BT100 $1,000 and Onkyo HT-S9100THX $1,099. Samsung makes good tv along with Sony, but on other products they do not. The Onkyo system is a receiver (7.1) and a set of speaker (7.1) but no dvd or blu ray player, it is a high quality receiver. Here is a recommendation, Pioneer VSX-918 receiver (recommended entry level) and a Kilpsch 5.1 speaker system 300 at Best Buy for $299 (very good quality speakers) and a Panasonic BD-60 blue ray disc player (recommended as the best entry level player) for around $150 at Costco. This is the system I would purchase personally, but do have do have a Kilpsch speakers higher model and a Pioneer Elite receiver and a Panasonic BD-10 blu ray disc player. Hope this will help you out.
